Concerts
These are concerts that I know I am shooting/hopefully going to shoot: Christina Perri - Feb. 28 Drake - March 10 Lady Antebellum - March 23 Kelly Clarkson - March 27 Nero - April 13 Coldplay - April 28 The Maine - June 6 Big Time Rush - July 22 I’m pretty excited for these! Think about it.. Photographers have to set up loads of equipment for a shoot. They set up what they want when it comes to the location. They have to hand pick who will be good for the shoot, what they wear, makeup, hair, how they pose, ect. After it’s all over they pack up and put everything away. They take at least over 100 pictures during a shoot. Out of those there are about 5 or less that they...

Don't ask a photographer to work for free.
samthephotographer: I wouldn’t have used the same verbiage as Harlan Ellison here, but I do understand exactly where he’s coming from in a photography point of view. Asking a photographer to work for free is probably one of our biggest annoyances, and at times could be disrespectful. As a photographer, I feel as if getting paid for your work is equally as important as producing a quality photo....

Buzznet
As of today I am a part of the Buzznet team. I am going to be an official photographer and I am really excited for this opportunity! Shooting concerts is one of my dreams and it’s coming true. I will be speaking at my former high school, Fremont High School, career day for the photography department. I couldn’t be more excited! I am just happy and honored to be able to speak to others who are interested in/have a passion for photography. This will be a good experience.
